The Colour of Evil

image

One of the worst kept secrets in Doctor Who Fandom right now is that most of The Mind of Evil has been successfully restored to colour using the chroma-dots process discovered a little while ago (a process in which colour information can be recovered from a black and white film print made from an original colour production—you can read more about how they used it to restore the colour on Planet of the Daleks 3). The secret is so badly kept that this screen-cap made from Episode Two of the recoloured story has been floating around the internet. The process did not work on Episode 1 of the story so another way will have to be found to restore the colour, but in did work for Episodes 2 to 6. And personally, I can not wait to see it!
