Does this fall under the theme of ‘Doctor = God’?

Am I the only one whon noticed that the title ” The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe” is a reference to the book ” The Lion , The Witch and The Wardrobe” by C. S Lewis?

Nicole, I noticed it to. The background setting to the beginning of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” is the second world war, and I believe that so does “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe”. I’m slightly apprehensive about this episode - how different to the story is this going to be to be a unique episode, yet obviously there’s going to be similiarities between the two as well. It could be a great one episodic story, or it could just fall flat. We’ll have to wait and see!

Actually, that’s what I was referencing in my earlier post; clearly the connection was a bit too oblique, my apologies. By parallel, the Doctor would be the Lion, ie Aslan, ie Christ/God.

It’s now Nov. 25, with one month to go until Christmas. Shouldn’t Space and BBC America have confirmed their airdates by now? Just sayin’...
