I’m not a Planet of the Daleks person…...

but I am hugely looking forward to hearing Tim Preece on the commentary for this DVD release. Preece played Codal (standing next to the Doctor in this pic) and played a very memorable character in all-time classic Britcom, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin.

And of course I am hugely looking forward to seeing Episode 3 in colour for the first time! Hopefully the Dalek War set (also featuring Frontier in Space) will be released in North America early in 2010.

Not sure if anyone else remembers this but back in the day when channel 17 Buffalo PBS ran these Pertwee episodes, they always emitted episode 6 of Planet of The Daleks. I always wondered why considering all episodes were available.
