Holy shit! The Doctor vs. Satan? As if. Definitely my favourite episode so far this season.

Excellently realised.
A bit scarey for younger kids (I would imagine), but that is half the pleasure of DW.
Of course, we know that the Doctor and Rose will escape, but as my daughter said last night, “the fun bit is finding out how.”
I do hope that the concluding episode keeps to the same high standard (and that I can remember what happened in the first part).

Off world. Finally. This is the destination most Doctor Who fans have been waiting for. Part 1 was loads of fun. I’m looking forward to reading the indepth reviews of this 2 parter in the next issue of Enlightenment. I found the reviews for the first half of the season to be very insightful.

Simply awesome!
A month seems such a long time to wait for part 2, but it will pass by quickly enough all the same. I can’t wait for the North American release of the Series 2 DVDs, so that I can watch these episodes back-to-back and without commercial interruptions, as they are meant to be seen.

Just a month? Actually, it’s six long weeks! Argh! Okay, I’ve actually seen the whole season already, so it’s no big deal for me.
But I’m still watching them as they go out on CBC.

Not likely to happen but wouldn’t it be nice if the CBC re-ran part one just prior to part two when it returns in January. Wouldn’t it be nice…2 back to back episodes for one night only on the CBC….ya, highly unlikely.

My problem with the CBC isn’t so much that they’ve but the series on hiatus, or even the fact that they’ve put a two-parter on hiatus for six weeks BETWEEN parts one and two, but the fact that they’ve been CUTTING scenes! Yes, it’s true. I’ve downloaded UK broadcast versions of New Earth, School Reunion and Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel, and the version broadcast by the CBC were edited for content. I mean, c’mon!
