Doctor Whom Returns!
Torontonians, rejoice! The delightful and funny improv comedy Doctor Whom, which we raved about earlier this year, is back! With all-new improvised adventures in time and space based upon that popular BBC series, The Tripods. No, wait, that’s not right…
It’s making a 4 week run at the Comedy Bar (945 Bloor St. West), Toronto on Saturdays November 27, December 4, 11 & 18, all at 8 PM. You can get tickets here.
It features Scott Montgomery (The Ron James Show, The Hour, Second City) as the Doctor, along with Jim Annan (Second City); Ashley Botting (Pick of the Fringe); Aurora Browne (Comedy Inc - fans of the last incarnation of the show will remember she played a very pregnant female version of the Doctor!); Chris Gibbs (The Carnegie Hall Show); Lindsay Grant (Battleawesome Awesomestar); Tom MacKay (Dreadwood); Alice Moran (Theatresports); Rob Norman (Mantown) and 2010 Canadian Comedy Award winner for best male improviser, Sean Tabares.
