For weeks now a “trailer” for the 2010 Christmas Special keeps resurging throughout the net. At least once a week I see it on someone’s Facebook or Twitter feed.
Brilliant, isn’t it? It’s great except for one thing… it’s a fake.
An amazingly made one too, involving still photographs and CG work that makes it all seem so incredibly real. The maker of it even showed us how he did it…
Doctor Who fans. God, they’re brilliant, in every sense of the word…

I think we know now how the BEEB make their trailers. I agree with John (above). The BBC should give this guy/gal a job.
