You know you’re on the other side of the mirror when…
...Cybermen from 1967 make the cover of Doctor Who Magazine in 2010.
I mean, I know it’s Doctor Who Magazine and all, but I still can’t quite believe it. In this day and age especially. Past Doctors? Once in a blue moon, maybe. But old school Cybermen? Wow. That’s… kind of cool.
And you gotta love the condition that Cyberman is in. I mean, most photos from filming and photocalls in the ‘60s they look pretty dinged up. Either someone took a snap of it in pristine condition, Photoshop was working overtime or that’s a new build.

DWN has always done right by the “classic” series. Of course it makes sense for them to focus on Tennant or Smith for the most part, but the McCoy cover story was great last month, and they’ve popped Tom Baker on the cover a few times as well. I’m just happy to see the magazine still going strong as a legitimate print publication when many of its contemporaries such as Starlog have disappeared (or gone Net-only, which is the same thing. I hear rumors the Canadian version of TV Guide still exists online ... somewhere. But I can’t be bothered to go hunting for it).

That guy’s cooler looking than the current cyberman any day—I hope they do bring him back!

Any Cybermen look cooler than the current ones. They just have that terrible Robocop feel about them which is fine for Robocop. The Cybermen should look like men in silver suits.
