What a cool compilation. I will always remember the 4th to 5th, 5th to 6th, and 10th to 11th regenerations as being the most jaw dropping moments for me. Tom Baker was my first Doctor and although a friend told me it was going to happen it was my first and…well you never forget your first. Peter Davison was cool to me because until the final scene in the TARDIS when The Doctor says, “Is this Death” I did not know this was his regeneration story. I knew at that time that he was leaving the role but did not know which story was going to be his last. And as for David Tennant…well he was just so damn good as The Doctor, what else can I say.

Damn it, I’m always going to well up at David’s last words. Once again when he said “I don’t want to die”, I responded with “I don’t want you to die either.”
I actually thought some of the early regenerations (1960s) were better than those of the 1980s. I don’t know why, but even with the technology and special effects that the BBC would have had accessed to in the days of William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton, you can imagine how much time and effort they would have gone through. Much better than the Colin Baker-Sylvester McCoy regeneration, although we all know that McCoy and a wig actually regenerated into himself minus the wig!
As for the Lego one, erm, someone had too much time on their hands… but they did do a good job.

Actually Rachel, he said “I don’t want to go” not die. As for the video, I expected a little more. The first 30 seconds nothing happens, you just hear the audio. This did give me a cool idea though. A lego Doctor Who game! That would be christmas in my book, even if it was terrible.
