Just for kicks I looked it up and for the 50th anniversary, which will be in 2013, November 23 actually falls on a Saturday! So I think ever fan on that day should watch episode 1 of An Unearthly Child at 5:15. I know its a little bit down the road but I see a perfect opprotunity for a WHO PARTY.

Sign me up for the party, lol!
That clipping is fabulous - I noticed that at 12noon that day they were showing something about Relativity….seems rather appropriate as a ‘primer’ for the adventures later that day through space and time!

It’s a cartoon referencing that night’s episode of The Avengers, “The Medicine Men” (with Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman) which aired on ITV a few hours after Doctor Who debuted on the BBC
