SPACE broadcasts A Christmas Carol on Boxing Day as part of Doctor Who Marathon!
The 2010 Christmas special will air a day later than in the UK and US but we get a full day marathon of Doctor Who specials to make up for the 24 hour wait!
SPACE has officially announced that A Christmas Carol, the 2010 Doctor Who Christmas Special, will have its Canadian debut on Dec. 26 at 9 PM ET. This is only one day after its broadcast in the UK and the United States, and it’s the first holiday-themed episode to get a timely showing in Canada since The Christmas Invasion aired on Boxing Day 2005.
The 2010 special airs as part of a two-day-long Doctor Who Christmas Specials marathon that kicks off at 3 AM and includes every Special including The Christmas Invasion, The Runaway Bride, Voyage of the Damned, The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead, The Waters of Mars and The End of Time (Parts One and Two)
The Who marathon is part of the annual 12 Days of Space-mas which this year includes showings of all six Star Wars films on Christmas Day, a Batman marathon, and the New Year’s weekend features a 10-film Star Trek extravaganza. For more information visit the SPACE website
