Space to Air 2010 Series starting April 17

Space has announced its starting date and timeslot for the new season - 9pm on Saturdays, starting April 17th with the debut episode for Matt Smith, The Eleventh Hour. The running time for which is believed to be 65 minutes long - a bumper episode to introduce the new Doctor and the new companion, Amy Pond (both of whom are pictured above) - so expect that Space will show this debut episode in a 90 minute slot.

BBC America have also announced that they will be broadcasting the episodes in the US on this date. It is believed that this is only two weeks behind the UK world premiere start date (likely to be April 3rd).
