\"A man without a goal, you are like a ship without a rudder.\" Thomas Carlyle _ You know people, perhaps yourself, who would be lost without a \"To Do\" list. Daily, weekly, monthly tasks that result in specific intended results. Many people will consider this as their goals. Indeed, you can call them \'goals\' if you wish. But I want to distinguish this concept further. I call these daily, weekly, monthly tasks \"Outcomes\" _ they are important steps on the way to achieving goals but they are a small part of the overall intended result.
You\'re Afraid of Success _ Believe it or not, some people are literally afraid of success. They feel too much pressure surrounding success to actually make goals to be successful. They are more comfortable in their role as someone who is not successful or who is \"normal\" instead of as someone who sets a goal, works toward achieving it, and is seen as a success. The truth is, there will always be people who want to tear you down once you achieve some success, but the saddest thing in life is regretting not doing something. Most people regret the things they did not do, more than the things they did do _ right or wrong.
