Join writer Phil Ford (The Waters of Mars, Into the Dalek, Sarah Jane Adventures, Torchwood) at Paupers Pub on Saturday November 15th for a day of Doctor Who programming.

The afternoon will feature a Q&A session with our guest Doctor Who writer Phil Ford as well as a live video commentary of a Doctor Who episode that he wrote, an autograph session with Phil Ford (included with admission), competitions and an afternoon of discussions and socializing with other Doctor Who fans.

Who Party Toronto is pleased to announce that our upcoming event with writer Phil Ford will include a special appearance by actor Peter Messaline.

Originally from the UK Peter is a Canadian actor who worked as a Dalek Voice Artist on the 1972 Jon Pertwee story "The Day of the Daleks". We are excited to have Peter on hand for a special discussion of his work on Doctor Who as well as his long history in the entertainment industry.

Paupers Pub is located in the Bloor and Bathurst neighbourhood of downtown Toronto at 539 Bloor Street West. Our venue is located near the Bathurst Station on the Bloor-Danforth TTC subway line. Regretfully as our event will be on the second floor of Paupers this is not a wheelchair accessible venue. This particular event is not intended as a family event and is not recommended for fans under the age of 16.

Who Party Toronto Presents: A Day With Philip Hinchcliffe

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who legendary Producer Philip Hinchcliffe visited Toronto to make a rare appearance in North America.


Philip Hinchcliffe is one of the most important and acclaimed producers of the classic series: he was responsible for overseeing one of the most important eras of the show with Tom Baker's fourth Doctor. Under him, classics like Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, The Seeds of Doom and The Deadly Assassin were made.

The event featured a Q&A with Philip, a retrospective of the Hinchcliffe era, an autograph session, as well as panel discussions on the following topics: - Doctor Who: The Best of the First 50 years, The Missing & Found Episodes, The 12th Doctor: What to Expect from Peter Capaldi

An Afternoon With Gary Russell

On the afternoon of Sunday June 9th, 2013 The Doctor Who Information Network and Who Party Toronto welcomed writer/director/script editor Gary Russell to Toronto for an afternoon at Paupers Pub. The event features in interview with Q&A session, a pub quiz, a live Directors commentary of Doctor Who: Dreamland with Gary, autographs and a 50th anniversary panel.

An Evening With Rob Shearman

On Tuesday April 19th, 2011 Doctor Who TV Writer Rob Shearman met up with Toronto fans during an event at at Scallywags Pub at Yonge & St. Clair.


An Evening With Steve Roberts

Steve Roberts is a member of the Doctor Who Restoration Team who works on classic series DVDs. While visiting Toronto Steve took the time to answer questions and give fans a smeak preview of some upcoming features.
